First, upon receipt of an appraisal request we confirm that we have received the request. If there are uncertainties or aspects of the appraisal assignment that we do not understand or are unclear, we clarify what is to be appraised before proceeding. Second, we contact the provided property contact (homeowner, tenant, representative for the property) and inform our client of our attempts to arrange appointment times. We notify the client if and when an appointment time has been set. This allows our clients to know when to anticipate the report. Finally, we inform our clients of any delays. Some properties require a greater extent of research — such as visits to the Municipal Office — which results in a delay of the appraisal report completion.
For the majority of reports (95%+) an appraisal report can be completed and delivered to the client within 24 hours of the property viewing. If the report will be delayed, we contact you and let you know the reason for the delay.
When we interact with your clients (homeowners, etc.) we recognize that we are representing you, and to some degree act as an ambassador for your company. To protect and foster the reputation of Urban Valley Appraisals and your company, we treat your clients respectfully and interact with them in an honourable manner.
